Cathedral Choir
The Cathedral Choir is a semi-professional vocal ensemble that sings weekly at the 10:00am Sunday Mass and rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm. The annual Christmas Carol Sing in December and the Tenebrae service during Holy Week are seasonal highlights. The choir also sings for the solemn liturgies of Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter.
Cathedral Cantors lead the music at parish Masses where no choir is present, as well as weddings and funerals.
Diocesan Choir
The Toledo Diocesan Choir sings for Diocesan Liturgies at the cathedral, such as Chrism Mass and Ordinations. The choir consists of choral singers and choir directors from many diocesan parishes. A limited number of rehearsals are scheduled during the year on Monday evenings at 7:00pm to prepare for various liturgies.
