"By the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed." -  Lumen Gentium 11

In Confirmation by anointing with Chrism Oil and praying over with the laying on of hands, the baptized receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Youth Confirmation
Baptized youth receive the sacrament of Confirmation during their eighth grade year of school.  Sign your children up for the Journey of Faith religious education program for confirmation preparation.

Adult Confirmation
Adults who received religious education as children, are baptized, and have received their first communion may take advantage of a special adult confirmation program.   Adults are confirmed every year on Pentecost Sunday.  Contact the parish office before Easter in order to sign up for Adult Confirmation at 419-244-9575 or [email protected]

Unbaptized adults receive the Sacrament of Confirmation as part of the RCIA process.
